When it comes to the Vape industry, there is a constant dialog and narrative regarding the regulations that surround it. As laws and regulations become more complex and restrictive, it’s our responsibility to find a way to navigate these perilous waters.
Amanda Wheeler - co-founder of the American Vapor Manufacturers Association and owner of Jvapes - is just one such individual helping to steer the ship. Combining her years of experience and knowledge in the field with an incredibly personal approach, Amanda broke down recent regulatory changes in the US during a keynote speech at this year's GTNF (Global Tobacco & Nicotine Forum).
“Under a court order a year ago, the US FDA was charged with creating a regulatory framework for dealing fairly with the health and safety of vapor products by September 9thof this year.
[The] FDA knew that they didn’t have the time or the resources to give our products fair consideration, but instead of asking for help, they let the 9/9 deadline pass and left the more than 500 companies subject to their decision in an unstable and probably untenable position.
Let’s talk about the scope of that impact.” -Amanda Wheeler
