Take a refreshing break with one of your favorite Five Pawns liquids this spring. This recipe for a Spanish Green Apple Sangria is sure to impress your guests. The crisp apples pair nicely with the sweet flavors of Moscato wine and complement the rich flavors of Gambit; our sweet and savory version of homemade apple pie. The longer you let your sangria steep the better as the fruity flavors infuse into the sweet Moscato tones. Sit back, relax and enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 (750 ml) bottles Moscato wine
3 oz Triple Sec
2 cups seedless green grapes, sliced in half
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
1 Lemon, sliced
1 Lime, sliced
1/2 liter club soda
Pour the Moscato wine into a glass pitcher or bowl and add the grapes, apple, lemon and lime slices. Next, add the triple sec and stir gently. Cover and chill for 2-24 hours.Before serving, top with club soda then stir gently and serve over ice.
Bartender Tip: Remeber when chilling your sangria: the longer, the better, steeped to perfection.
